Support our work
We don’t have a fundraising department. We don’t have a marketing budget to tell you a story about impact you can’t verify. What we have is a small group of volunteers running tutoring and mentoring sessions across Thurrock, Havering and Barking and Dagenham, and a waiting list of young people who need more of them.
Every pound you give goes to delivery, not overhead, because we don’t have overhead to speak of.
£10
Covers the materials for one tutoring session
£50
Funds a full term of digital skills coaching for one young person
£150
Provides a refurbished laptop, fully licensed and ready to use, for a young person with no device at home
£500
Sponsors a full six-month mentoring place for one young person: their sessions, materials, and a share of the safeguarding and coordination costs that sit behind every place we offer
You can give once or set up a monthly donation. Both matter equally to us, because a monthly gift is what lets us plan a term ahead instead of scrambling grant to grant.
Monthly donors can manage or cancel their donation securely through Stripe.
One thing to know before you give
Thames Gateway EdEquity is a Community Interest Company, not a registered charity. That means we can’t claim Gift Aid on your donation, and you won’t see a Fundraising Regulator badge on this page because that scheme is built around charity membership. What you will get is a CIC legally required to reinvest everything back into the mission, with accounts filed publicly at Companies House.
If you run a business or a trust and you’re thinking about something bigger than a one-off gift, go here to talk about a partnership instead. That conversation looks different and we’d rather have it properly than squeeze it into a donation page.
