Thames Gateway EdEquity CIC supports young people aged 11 to 17 across Thurrock, Havering and Barking and Dagenham. Access to our programmes is based on age, location and need, assessed through our scorecard, regardless of a young person’s race, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.

Open to Every Eligible Young Person

Some of our delivery takes place at RCCG The Fountain, a church venue. Access to our programmes there is open to all eligible young people and families; it is not restricted to any particular faith or belief, and no young person is required to participate in any religious activity to take part in tutoring, mentoring, or careers support.

Our People and Adjustments

Our volunteers and directors are drawn from the communities we serve. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds and will make reasonable adjustments, where we can, to support both volunteers and young people with additional needs. If you need an adjustment, tell us and we’ll do what we can.
